The Establishment are a Nottingham based band who were formed in March 2006 by
former Nottingham Forest midfielder and guitarist John Burns and drummer Steven
Landon, they were quickly joined by Stephen Hobster (vocals) Neil Jacks (bass)
and Stuart Landon (guitar) The band came together with the collective ambition
to write and perform their own music, which has proved to be a great decision as
the band have enjoyed huge success in both the UK and Ireland, and have a
fanbase that stretches to different corners of the globe.
The
bands accolades range from performances and interviews on local television,
radio, newspapers and an appearance at Nottingham Forest at half-time - right up
to a live acoustic session on BBC radio 5, talksport, performing on Sky and BBC
TV and interviews in the likes of the Sun newspaper among others.
Over the past few years the band have built up an extensive
repertoire of original material resulting in the recording of their debut EP
“Last one home” which sold out within a short period of time.
The
Establishment released their
debut single “Be that way” in early October 2010 . Accompanying the single is
the music video which has cameo roles from some legendary ex-international
England players and a well known soap star.
The band have
recently joined forces with ex professional footballer Dion Dublin who is now in
place as the bands full time manager.
